Thanks for making INDIE LOVE a success!

A big huge thank you to everyone who made our INDIE LOVE Holiday Trunk Show a success!

We saw friends come from far and wide to attend. Your support means so much! We had a treasure trove of vintage clothing, jackets, T's and shoes from Blue Window Vintage. GaBadges was there rockin her handmade buttons. They were all so great I had the hardest time choosing. Fabulously cheap art and collages by Angela. {Mine looks amazing on the walls of my living room, thanks, Angela!} And more vintage clothing and bags. And of course gobs of beautiful baubles from yours truly, Anne More. It was a great time to get a jump on Holiday shopping and also to have fun with your friends and maybe treat yourself to something fabulous. Thanks again to everyone who came!

We made the front page on Etsy!

The Dame Earrings were featured in a treasury that made front page on our favorite website-Etsy.com. Woo-hoo! Pyrite, Rock Quartz Crystal and sterling silver gleam brightly in these unique earrings.

Happy Holidays everybody!

A fresh take on the classic hoop. These teadrops are made of sterling silver. So lighweight, so easy to wear with anything! I've just listed them on my shops.

Wedded Bliss

This summer I had the privilege to make the jewelry worn by my friend and her bridesmaids on her wedding day. The Schoessler wedding was a beautiful event. The evening sun sparkled warmly as friends and family shared in the happy couples celebration.

The necklace for the bride was created with several strands of white freshwater pearls and crystals to accent the lovely neckline and cascading earrings in pearls, crystal and a rock crystal briolette to show off her fabulous up do. The bridesmaids wore simple necklaces and earrings of sterling silver and smoky quartz briolettes. It was lovely!

Thanks to Megan for including my designs in her special day!

We've got some exciting news to share. In addition to finding your favorite handmade, indie jewelry on our etsy shop, you can now shop our website: http://www.annemorejewelry.com/! We are super excited about our Fall and Winter pieces. The designs are infused with thoughts of love, nature, chamomile tea, and royally gemilicious stones. We're still mixing it up with gold, silver and brass. Keep an eye out as we will be posting these new lovelies shortly. Happy October!

PS. Do you know about Handmade Nation? Faythe Levine has written a book and made a documentary all about the rise of the DIY art and craft movement. Check out their website: http://www.handmadenation.com/ for updates.

Rainy Day

A blustery day of rain showers kept me from attending our local farmers market today. Usually September days in Walla Walla are filled with warm sunshine. So, instead of setting up my booth at the market, I hunkered (is that really how you spell hunkered?) down in front of the computer and worked on my website. Drum roll please........
http://www.annemorejewelry.com/ is now open! Hooray! Goodness what alot of fun, and work. Here is one of the items I listed on the site.
Fall is quickly approaching. Monday to be precise. Today got me thinking about rustling leaves and warm sweaters. Hmmmmm, cozy thoughts.

It's Fair Time!

It's fair time in my small town. A lovely time to grab a bite, and see what my community is up to. Isn't it amazing how many people actually wear Wranglers? I mean, real people- not just people in truck commercials.
After a nibble on some yummy treats I head over to the arts, crafts and sewing exhibits. My favorite this year is Mr. Pumpkin. A pumpkin headed man entirely knitted. He's sitting down in a case, but I bet he's almost 3 or 4 feet tall. Mr. Pumpkin is wearing a really great suit and holds a lantern. Hats off to the creative mind who brought him to life. The glass case he's in is very dusty, so apologies on a shabby photo.
Next up: Vegetable Critters. I always knew I loved my veg, but who knew they had such personality? These guys are submitted by grade school kids. I absolutely adored them.

If your community has a fair coming up I hope you can make it. What a fun way to be exposed to things we don't often see in our busy, modern world.

Enjoy your day!
